About Rich in Nature.
Hi, I’m Rich. I started Rich in Nature as a way to slow down and pay attention to the world around me. Living in Washington State, I’m surrounded by forests, coastlines, deserts, and mountains — places where every trail or wetland has a story to tell.
This site is my digital field journal. Here, you’ll find blog entries that I call field notes — a mix of photos, video, and writing from my time on the trail. Most are from the Pacific Northwest, but from time to time I carry this curiosity further afield and share those stories too.
Whether it’s a wildflower tucked into the rocks, a stand of old-growth firs, or a windswept shoreline, my goal is simple: to share the plants and places that make the landscape feel alive.
